Committee interests would include bio/medical research ethics, and related applications in hospitals, universities and research institutes. The committee would operate under the supervision and authority of King Abdulaziz City for Science & Technology (KACST), which would chair the committee.
This official website of the National Committee of Bioethics (NCBE) was developed as a service center for all parties involved with bio/medical research in the Kingdom. Executive bylaws and regulations will be communicated electronically to all registered users at this stage. Researchers as well as local committees at universities, hospitals, private companies and research centers in general, will also be registered through this website.
